The Scorpions and the Orchestra Philharmonic du Luxembourg, Conducted by Gast Waltzing (June 2003)

This event was for the grand opening of the 2003 TOUR DE FRANCE.

The concert was held in the Place Guillaume in front of City Hall in Luxembourg Ville and was a free concert offered by the City of Luxembourg - attended by over 25,000 people.

The first part of the program was the 40 minute "Suite for Luxembourg” for Symphonie Orchestra and Modern Ensemble - composed by Gast Waltzing. Solosits included, David Laborier (guitar), Ander Hirtt and Maggie Parke (vocals).

The second part of the concert was the Scorpions and the Orchestra Philharmonic du Luxembourg with Waltzing.
